making a mirror copy

Hello - week 3 of Fusion 360 and still learning.   I have made this set of brakes and want to take a mirror copy.  I have created my offset plane.

When I select mirror copy I select component but I cannot actually select my model.  In parallel I think I have messed up my browser settings and cannot get back to default.

Can anyone help please?  Why can I not simply click and select my model.

Many thanks in advance.

Hi,

Your components contain no bodies.
1. mirror the body
2. drag the body into a component and mirror this component

mirror: Body v. Componentmirror: Body v. Component

When the Mirror command opens, it defaults to Faces.

Select Bodies in the Drop down.
