MacOS upgrade process still a mess

MacOS
Non standard install location, no in-app update option, no auto replacement of dock/app icons, etc.
Had hoped that this would get better. I don't think it has.

Endless download/install loop this time around

Where the "utility" can't even find the newly installed version.

I had to fully uninstall, reboot and start from scratch.

(Honestly) Maybe hire a qualified MacOS dev who can help you rethink this entire deployment so that it follows accepted standards and OS workflows instead of wonky workflow that is the current system?

@beananimal This message was shown to customers that were on an older version of Fusion older than April 2023. When you clicked on "Update Fusion 360 now" were you put into an endless loop?

@beananimal Also with the update to the newest version you should not find that you now have the option to snooze an update of Fusion 360. You may not experience this yet if you are on the latest build and will notice this improvement in the next update.
