@o4643078 sorry about this experience, we are investigating it now. So far, it appears this is limited to 10.13 - if you are able to update to 10.14 or 10.15, you should see immediate relief.

I am having the exact same problem, I am running MacOS HS 10.13.6. and the Nav Bar is hiding and only when I mouse over the area where it should be do I get the text pop ups for the nav utilities.

Additionally having a few extra issues since the update - lots and lots of  lag, F360 is handling like a pig on stilts!

Also had an upload hang on me this week which took most of the day to upload to the cloud,

Had a version save and showed in the data panel as v9 but on the top of the screen showed saved as V8,

I do hope that these are just glitches with the last update that can be sorted, as its making working in F360 very painful and difficult at the moment

Same problem here. I'm running 10.13.6 too. Bar is there and useable but invisible. There's no way for me to upgrade to a newer version of MacOS on this device.

Same, I am not in able to update to anything higher than 10.13.6 on my system, and not in a position to replace this system.

I did notice that the icons do seem to flash up upon closing Fusion down.

Hi all,

We have identified where the problem lies, and this should be addressed in the next hotfix.

A friendly reminder: 10.13 High Sierra will soon lose support from Apple, and eventually Autodesk Fusion 360 will follow. Apple generally supports the current, and two prior major releases; with the imminent release of macOS 11.0 Big Sur, this means you will need at least 10.14 to continue to receive updates.

We will not drop support immediately, so you have some time, but from a development side I know some of our third party components will soon require Mojave or newer, so this will happen within 2021.

Thank you Lance,  Is this issue also related to the lag that a lot of users are finding since the last update and is that also something that will be fixed in the hotfix?

Could you please provide some more context? Unfortunately I am not familiar with that specific issue, but I'm looking at a fairly long list of under-the-hood fixes and optimizations that have been completed, any number of which might provide relief to the issue you're describing. If it still persists after the next update, please let us know!

@mnox1984, in testing Big Sur we have identified and are working on some bugs and optimizations related to 11.0, but I can confirm the Navigation Bar is present.

Please keep in mind that, while we appreciate a heads-up on forthcoming issues in pre-release software, we are unable to provide support or guarantee functionality for operating systems and devices still under development.

Betas are best served chilled on a test device you won't mind wiping clean or losing functionality for an extended period should something go wrong. Personally, I usually wait for the first minor update of a major release (x.1) before updating any system that I might rely on for mission-critical work.
