Hello everyone.

Just wanted to see if someone else is getting the same issue. I cannot see the machine configurations options when I'm creating or editing a CAM Setup

Hi @Ex_Machina_Engineering

This is a known issue and the team is working on it.

You can enable machine configurations manually:

Warning to anyone about to try the following workaround: do not turn on any of the other selections in this dialog. These are under development and are not supported. They are very unreliable and we do not recommend using them.

Open the Feature Flags dialog by opening up your text commands window (File -> View), make sure that the "txt" option is set, and enter "CAM.FeatureFlags". This will bring up a dialog to allow you to manipulate the feature flags directly.

To activate the machine selection, enable the one called "machine-configuration".

Once you do this, it should stay set in later sessions.

Let me know if that answered your question.

I have tried this and am still having no luck.

This is the error message I am receiving. Have tried several times to turn on and off and restarting Fusion with no luck. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

"Enabled feature flags: machine-configuration

Generation completed successfully in 1.9s.

Warning: Empty tool path."

OK, so that is not the machine configuration actually. Machine Configuration is an option in the dialogue menu for the setups (where you set the stock size, work offset, etc) where you can select the type and configuration of your machine.

For example, you can have a 4-axis mill with an A-axis or a 4-axis lathe with a C and a Y-axis.

The message you're getting simply means that the geometry you selected to be machined cannot be machined because of:

-Lead setting

-Tool size

-something harder to discover...

If you post your problem over at the CAM side of the forums someone will definitely guide you through the process of setting up your toolpath.

Hola, estoy usando Inventor con HSM y no consigo postprocesar.

Me aparece el error: Invalid machine configuration in toolpath.

He leido lo de configurar la maquina pero no lo encuentro en HSM ni en Inventor CAM.

Me gustaria postprocesar para Mach3 Milling.

No se por donde empezar para solucionar el problema. No encuentro informacion suficiente al respecto.

Gracias
