Mac problem with July 25th fusion 360 update

Program worked fine until I shutdown my Macbook  and moved to my workshop. When I restarted Fusion 360 it ran the latest update. After that button labels appeared over the buttons disabling the button. I tried all the usual stuff. Rebooted the Mac, restarted Fusion 360, tried a different mouse, verified other programs were working as expected etc, etc....  One notable thing is that Fusion 360 at start up allows one icon to be picked before this problem sets in. It appears to that Fusion 360 graphical interface has changed with the update. I tried the support group. They were stumped.  It now has a case number 19313081.

The attached file is an example of just one button with this problem. They all have the same problem.

Hello.
Can you try the following and let me know if that helps?

  • restart fusion
  • minimize/maximize Fusion
  • move the app window on the desktop up or down

Thanks for the response.

I did as you asked.

Maximizing the screen seems to have reset something.

The labels now behave as intended with either max screen or other.

I don't normally run it with the screen maximized so had not thought to try that.

If it hangs again I will let you know.

Thank you,

Alan
