Losing the ability to pan and rotate using the trackpad on my MacBook Pro

Many times a day I loose the ability to pan and rotate using my trackpad and the shift key. This will happen if I step away from the program for a minute, use another program, etc. I have tried getting it working again by doing things like moving the view cube, clicking back and forth on object .... nothing. I have to quit fusion and restart to get the functionality back. This happens many, many, many times a day. I have a brand new MacBook Pro and it seem like it started when I got this machine.

Hi,

There have been improvements in this area and I'd like to hear what you think.

  1. First, go to Preferences, and select the Preview Features tab.
  2. Look for Native Trackpad.
  3. Enable it.
  4. KEY STEP: DO NOT automatically start Fusion when prompted. This will unfortunately discard the change.
  5. Close preferences.
  6. Wait 30 seconds.
  7. Restart Fusion 360 manually.

When it restarts, double check the preference is still enabled. Enjoy!

And please let us know how you like the new trackpad experience.
