Looking to purchase a MacBook Air 15", M2 chip, 8GB, 256GB storage

I currently use a Acer Aspire Windows 10 home, 4.0GB with an Intel(R)Core(TM) i3-7100. This computer is sufficient for my needs, will this MacBook perform as well?

I am not a MAC user but I will comment on your choice of 256 GB of hard drive space, this is entirely TOO small as today's application will eat that up in a hurry and you will have little space left of your personal files.
