Looking for patchwork mode

I am learning Fusion 360 through the use of skillshare and in this particular class it changes from deign mode to patchwork mode. When I click the design mode button it does not give me the option for patchwork. Where doe I find this mode?

what do you mean by "patchwork mode"?  This is not a term I am familiar with.  Can you show a screen capture of what it would look like?  Perhaps we know it by some other term.
