The Problem: Button assignments made within Logi Options+ software did not work when adding Fusion 360 as an individual application.
The Fix:
1. In Logi Options Plus click the + sign in the top right corner to Add Application
2. Instead of clicking AutoDesk Fusion 360, scroll to the bottom of the list and click "Add Other Application"
3. Once the finder box opens, press the COMMAND+SHIFT+ . (period key) simultaneously to show hidden files.
4. Navigate to: HD>Users>(your home folder)>Library>Application Support>Autodesk>webdeploy>production>(folder with numbers and letters)>Autodesk Fusion 360
Notes: (folder with numbers and letters) may be different for you, but it should contain the app you're looking for. I'm using the Non-Commercial version of Fusion 360.
It appears Logi Options+ was trying to use the Launcher app and not Fusion 360 itself.
Running Monterey 12.1
Hope this helps anyone else having the same problem. This helped me assign what was originally the top button "Shift Wheel Mode" to "Advanced Click > Middle Click + Shift" for Orbit.
