Login required every time fusion is started

Every single time Fusion is being started I need to login using username, password and authentication.

I'm on a mac, and the only solution offered is meant for a windows machine. Updated to the latest patch on big sur, had a standard update on Fusion and after that it's giving me the issue described.

Gave Fusion full rights to disk access in the security settings, but no luck.

LoginState.xml is accessed every time i open fusion, so the file is read/write, the log file also growing every login.

<?xml version='1.0'?>
<WebServices LastSavedBy="Autodesk Fusion 360">
<Settings CurrentServer="ProductionServer" LastLoginReminderDate="" LogoutDate="" SuppressLoginReminder="False"/>
</WebServices>

And a re-install with removal doesn't help either.

Yes, with the very same result. All steps to do the clean install have been performed. And the app is unusable on big-sur due to this issue, so you have to do it by hand according to these steps.

Any other suggestion is more than welcome.

You mean you are also affected on a mac? You need to login each time you open Fusion?

I haven't noticed it to be happening on the forum as well, but when closing/opening the browser i noticed the same. I don't have to use the 2 factor authentication on the forum though, so that seems to work better.

No, on the forum you are fine, just check 'stay logged in' and it reminds you just fine. It's just the app. Like asked before, do you have the same experience?

This is great! I mean ... annoying. : ) I'm just glad I'm not the only one dealing with it.

It started after updating Mac OS to one of the new beta's .... so I didn't complain because I'm running ahead a little. Tried a clean Re-install of Fusion, gave up after that.

I have the exact same situation!  The latest update to Fusion360 fixed the crashing upon startup, but it's still asking for the username/password each time.

Issue resolved! got help from Autodesk and it was Screencast that was acting up! After logging in to screencast, i could open F360 without logging in. After a reboot it didn't worked anymore. Removed screencast and I now can open Fusion without the need of logging in again.

I had high hopes for macOS 11.3.1 fixing the problem but alas it is still there 😞

Interesting tidbit about screencast.   That app won't even load for me.   Hmmm....

Screencast seems to be the culprit here, thanks for sharing.

I updated to the latest version of Screencast, logged in, and now Fusion360 isn't bugging me every time for a username and password.  Strange.

Just an update on this issue.  I thought it was fixed, but alas not.  To get Fusion360 to start I have to:

1. Find the existing screencast app and kill it using "ps -aux | grep eencast" to get the pid and then using "kill".

2. Restart screencast and login with my username and password.

3. Start Fusion360

It's a pain since I typically restart my laptop going back and forth to work, and then do more work in the evening so that's twice a day.
