Logging in to F360 Desktop returns to log-in page

When I logged in to F360 for the first time, I was able to create a group, but after doing this I was taken back to the login screen. Now every time I log in there a loading screen, a quick flash of what appears to be a browser compatibility error with the icons of Chrome, FF, IE, Edge, etc, proceeded by another loading screen and returning to the 'enter email' prompt.

So I had found another post, where someone was using their university's wifi and the issue was blocked ports or something similar, I decided to check Windows Defender's firewall rules and there was no entry for Fusion 360. I don't know why I didn't get a prompt to add a rule for it when it was first ran, but adding one fixed the issue.

Fix steps:

  1. Run F360
  2. Ctrl + Shift + Esc to open task manager
  3. Expand the F360 entry
  4. Right click AutoDesk Fusion 360 (<licence type> Edition)
  5. Click 'Open file location' and copy the whole path
  6. Open Defender Firewall, then the 'allow a program' option in the left pane
  7. Click 'Change settings', then 'Add a program'
  8. Paste the path for the Fusion 360 .exe and select it to add the firewall exception

Would you mind linking that thread?  I am currently having the same issue and changing the firewall did not fix it.
