Lofting in multiple directions for convex curves

Hi. I'm stuck. I'm quite new to Fusion 360. Loving it.

But... really struggling getting my head into lofting.

I want to create a vacuum form mould for an eye piece. Given the complex geometry it curves off in many directions. My logic thus far was:

1. Trace the outside

2. Mark out the high points (those that will end at horizontal)

3. Draw a shape in each plane then loft between them.

Pulling my hair out on this. Would really appreciate a few pointers. Cheers.

given what you have so far, I would try loft to a point.  Use a Tangent condition for the point, and then select the other curves as Rail curves (you have to turn off chaining, and manually add a second Rail, to prevent it being considered a single Rail).

There are other ways to get this shape, but this is one way using Loft.

Wow. This is exactly what I needed. Problem is, when I follow exactly what you do, it says "rail is not smooth"?

You did not Attach your new file here.

(See Attached - I did not take the time to add the missing third rail.)

Also make sure that you uncheck Chain Selection 0:29 timestep in the video.

@michaelX7SKK - you missed one critical step.  You need to turn "chaining" off when selecting the rails.  With chaining on, Fusion will select the entire loop as a single rail, including the lines.  You just want the curves:
