Loft picking the center of the circle instead of the circle itself

Title and screenshot tells everything. My question is: Why? (By the way, the right circle is not selected by me, it is selected by software as soon as i select the two circles on the left.)

Because you selected the centre point for Profile 1, or it was selected before opening the Tool.

You are correct, thanks. I did that because Fusion 360 didn't allow me to select the circle itself. Now, driven by a sudden hunch, i hid the bodies in the way, and voila, i was able to select the circles. Wouldn't have though this before reading your answer. I have much to learn about the under-the-hood workings about this software. Thanks again.
