Hello everyone, thanks for your attention:

Since the component has length information etc is it possible to link this information to the drawing area so that it changes automatically in the drawing area? (image in the post)

A sincere greeting

Hi @alastefano95KWLGH

We do not currently support bounding box or parameter information in drawings. For now, you will need to use dimensions.

The good news is that this is a feature that we have earmarked for future development, see our drawings roadmap (look in the bottom left hand corner under "Text & Advanced Dimensions")

Hi,

Dimensions in drawings are referenced from your design.

Make a change in the design > save it > update your drawing by clicking on the yellow triangle in the upper left corner.

I'd say it's great news! I can't wait to have these features available, I need a lot for my work. So you don't have a definite "date" for this update to be released?

Hi @alastefano95KWLGH

Something you could try while you wait for us, is this add-in on the App store: https://apps.autodesk.com/FUSION/en/Detail/Index?id=8973016944685106435&appLang=en&os=Win64
