Lines never match 3d part in drawing

When I create a drawing from a sketch, parts of the drawing act sporadically. The lines of the part move around and never match the 3d part. How do I solve this issue?

Every great once in a while I can get the zoom just right and the lines will match...

You normally do not make 2D drawings from a model sketch.  To do so, all lines must be on the same plane, as viewed in the drawing.  What you want to do is create a model from your sketch, then the drawing will represent the model.  In the drawing, you may need to cut a section to show the detail you desire.  Please attach your model with some explanation of what you desire to create in the 2D drawing.  To attach your model, open in Fusion 360, File, Export to your hard drive, then attach to a reply post.

Hi Jhackney1972,

Thank you for your response, I can't share the model so I just extruded a section of the model. The original model and extruded section have the same issue when trying to create a drawing. I have made a screencast to better showcase the issue.

Please take a look.

What you are showing is a computer graphic card issue not a Fusion 360 issue.  Two things you can do, open the help dropdown and check your Graphics Diagnostic panel, maybe you need to update your video driver.  The second it to open up your preferences and try a different Graphics Driver.

Hi jhackney1972,

I tried all the driver settings from auto-select to opengl. I made sure my drivers are up to date. I still have this issue. I have a workstation graphics card, I do not understand the issue.

Hi @hawnzilla

I'm sorry that you are having a problem with this drawing. Please can you share an F3Z of your files for us to have a look at? You can attach the F3Z file here, or if it is sensitive, feel free to send it directly to me Clint. Brown {a} Autodesk.com

It may also be useful if you could send us your diagnostic logs to have a look at too.
