Launching Fusion360 while offline

Launching Fusion360 while offline

When I'm using Fusion 360 and I lose my internet it goes into offline mode, however if I try to launch the application without internet it give me "There was an error while logging in to Fusion 360" and then either gives me the log in screen again or dumps me back to the desktop.

Is there any way to launch the application directly into offline mode and use cached information? For example if I wanted to do some work on an airplane and then synchronize my changes when I land.

No I am afraid not.  Once logged on, you can go into offline mode immediately but the use of Fusion 360 depends on you logging in using your Autodesk ID.

I found the solution to my current problem of not being able to log in by following the instructions here:

https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/fusion-360/troubleshooting/caas/complexsolutions/complex_solu...

That eventually had me delete 2 files. When it regenerated them I was able to log in.

I'd still love the option of logging on offline even if it is only allowed for just a couple hours because of my airplane scenerio. 🙂
