latest update has stopped my MacBook trackpad pan tilt zoom orbit to not work the same

after todays update I jumped back into my latest project and noticed the zoom function has changed to a 2 finger scroll action rather than the previous pinch/spread action. and none of the other trackpad actions work at all, the most useful one being the orbit and pan using 2 fingers+shift. I've tried all different combinations of settings in the Preferences-General tabs and nothing fixes this. can someone enlighten me or can we escalate this as a critical fix as this has now slowed my production down by 300% at least.

Mine stopped too. I can't believe how they managed to break this fundamental feature. Bring it back asap please!

solved by enabling the trackpad preview feature. Good, however unbelievable the Mac trackpad support got broken on the latest release and I had to "fix" it by enabling a preview feature, discovering the solution by browsing half an hour through the forum.
