Latest project stuck in limbo - can't update, can't save.

I have a project that is stuck in limbo, actually I have several but this one is important right now. I can neither save it nor can I "update to latest version".

I have spent hours working on this project and it is to be our next product.

How do I get it out of this limbo loop of not being able to save and not being able to recover?

1. I am the only user and the project was made on this machine and never worked on by another user or on another machine.

2. I have already increased my offline cache to 360.

3. There is one part, an assembly, that was copied from another project that is also stuck in this limbo. (I will try deleting this part)

4. I highly suggest that you, the fusion team, stop working on adding all the whiz bang functions and revert to sound programming practices, establish a product testing team and make the software reliable before you ruin someone's revenue stream.

5. I'm a paying customer and I'm very pissed off.

@jdholbrook33 Can you please go to the article and in there try the section "

  • For a specific design that is showing symptoms such as a missing thumbnail or a warning icon:"

Does the design that you are using the assembly, currently have a thumbnail in the data panel?

Thanks for the reply.

I had already been through that article and tried all that on several of the projects that are "unable to update".

What I did that finally solved the issue is, I copied the project to another folder.

It was by accident as I was organizing my projects to be a little easier to find.

So, give that a try. Copy the offending project to another folder.

Worked for me on two projects so far.
