Lasso Selection Tool Selects the same things clockwise and counter clockwise

I use the lasso, or free form select tool a lot in my design, and for some reason, the clockwise and counter clockwise uses of the tool select the same thing. Both ways, no matter if it is a dotted yellow selection area or a solid orange one, it selects whatever it comes in contact with. If anyone can help figure out why this is happening I would be very grateful. It makes it very difficult to design without this tool.

that does appear to be a problem, I agree.  I will create a bug for this.  Thanks for reporting it.
