Laser cutting module

Is there any desire to support laser/plasma cutters from a design point of view? It would be fantastic if you could use the sheet metal or solid workspace to make the design, then have options to set assembly tabs, kerf and material thickness like you can with pattern generation as opposed to laboriously working it out every time.
