Ive had fusion 360 for almost a year and I can just about make a small edit to a 3mf file (like delete or push pull a feature). Thats it. I've been taking classes on skillshare and all the youtube events as well. I just don't seem to get the rules because I can never just do the simple thing I am asking it to do.

I can't even get a sketch fully constrained yet. It just gets so overwhelming..

Link to a simple approach would be helpful. That's if I havent already seen it which is pretty possible.

Cheers.

Have you tried any of the free learning courses offered by autodesk?

This would be a good place to start.  There's courses for most everything the software is capable of

Can you File>Export your *.f3d file to your local drive and then Attach it here to a Reply?

Are you importing a 3MF file and trying to work with it?  3MF is a mesh format, and Fusion is not a great mesh editor.  If you are learning, I would recommend always starting from an empty design, and using native Fusion features to create geometry.  A good way to learn is to try to model stuff lying around your home.  Start with simple objects like a coffee cup or a water bottle.  Don't over-stress on fully-constrained sketches at the beginning (although, the most common missing piece to a fully-constrained sketch is a constraint or dimension to the origin or other fixed geometry).  Just my 2 cents...
