Joints that work in components stop working when brought into a new design

I have been designing a new kitchen.  This design starts by creating each of the cabinets separately; verify that the cabinet doors open, the drawers pull out, and the lazy susan spins.  When I bring the individual cabinets into the new "kitchen" assembly, the joints no longer work.  All of the cabinets are components.  Anybody have suggestions on how to get these joints working properly?

Can you attach one of your cabinets that has Joints so we can test its addition to a top level assembly?  If you do not know how to attach your Fusion 360 model follow these easy steps. Open the model in Fusion 360, select the File menu, then Export and save as a F3D or F3Z file to your hard drive. Then use the Attachments section, of a forum post, to attach it.

@cgilmore1SH23M - probably what is going on here relates to Ground.  Ground does not come across when you insert a design into another design.  Usually what you need to do is to create a rigid joint between the inserted design's grounded component and some component (or the design origin) in the top-level design.  All other joints should come across just fine.

##-Creating a joint between my kitchen walls and the Design Origin did fix the issue.  I didn't know I could form a joint between a physical part and the Design Origin.  By the way, I did have my kitchen walls anchored and had joints betweeb the cabinets and the walls.  When I went to open a cabinet door I drug everything around with the mouse (cabinets and walls, etc...).  I learned something today that should help many Fusion Users.
