Joints Disappear after turning on Design History

As the subject says, My old joints disappear after turning on Design History. I turned it off to insert a mesh. No idea why. I can give access to project if anyone needs. Here is a screencast.

Thanks for posting. Can you export the version of this design prior to enabling history so I can reproduce this for a bug report?

After that you can probably go back a version or two to recover your model prior to turning off history.

Did you know you can insert a mesh without turning off history? There are several ways, most notably the Insert menu. Was there some reason this did not work for your workflow? Please let us know if you were blocked in some way that forced you to turn off history.

The reason I turned off history was to convert mesh to brep. Although it
seems to only work sometimes for me?

Got the model. Thanks.

I can confirm the same behavior in our next update build, so it's not something we might have fixed recently.

This is now logged as a bug, but I don't know the root cause or any workaround other than the following suggestions:

1. Roll back to a version that is PM and just model the part(s) instead of converting mesh to solid.

OR...

2. Roll back to PM version, then open the mesh you wish to convert to solid in a separate file, convert it, then insert to your PM model.

Or a third option to just replace the joints in the model as it is after losing the joints. The parts are in place, so you could use As-Built joints to repair it.
