Joining 3 parts together

Hi.

I have a PCB design that I've pulled in to Fusion from Eagle. It is a main PCB with connectors going to a mezzanine card. I have used the Joint tool to put the connector 3D models in to the PCBs, selecting Rigid motion.
I want to join the plug and receptacle connectors on the main and daughterboard respectively, and have them join in a vertical sliding motion. However, when I try this,  the daughterboard receptacle joins the main board plug, leaving the whole daughterboard behind. It seems to forget that the connector and daughterboard already had a joint.

Can anyone suggest where I'm going wrong?

Please attach your Fusion 360 model.  Open in Fusion 360, select File menu, select Export and save to hard drive.  Attach using Attachments section in a reply post.

Hello @jhackney1972

I tried to recreate the problem for you on a simpler design, but it worked as expected. I think the problem I had was due to a  sliding joint on the assembly component (call them A and B) that I inserted into a design (C). When trying to create a rigid joint between components A and C, it ignored joint A-to-B in the original assembly.  I went back and deleted all joints in the assembly and my new design, inserted all the parts required, and placed the joints as needed in the new design only. It now seems to work okay. At least I think that's what sorted out the problem.

Thank you.
