Issues with toolpath

Not applicable

Im new to fusion 360 and have used other programs when i was in machinist school to programing mills and lathes but it has been awhile i just ordered a cnc plasma table and when i am creating a tool path the generated tool path leaves a third or so of my design untouched and can not figure out how to get it to cut everything i did select everything i wanted cut when i was in 2d design . I also tried to adjust my lead in values to account for the possibility of the design being to small but the sign is 2x4 with large design so that shouldnt be the issue

Please share your model so the forum users can take a look.  You can open the file go to File ->Export to your hard drive.  Then you can attach it below in the Attachments Section.

I find the cutting routines are easier to apply to a solid than just a sketch so I created an extrusion .010 thick.  If you will notice the current toolpath simulation cuts all the interior areas first then moves along the outside to finish the part.  You cutting tool was not saved with your model so I used one I had access to so please check that.  Model is attached.

Thank you so much could you walk me through what you did to change fix that i know the extruding of the part .

I also have another  question when i ran the simulation it went through the cutting twice? im using a plasma miller spectrum 375 i have saved in my local library. Im  just confused at why it ran the sim twice when starting the second run the yellow line turned red when the torch moved back to start a second time im brand new to this fusion and i have been having  3 months of solid aggravation.

Thank you for your time i appreciate the help alot

When I run the supplied file, the simulation only runs once, it does not repeat.  I do not have access to your plasma cutter since it was not attached to the file you posted.  If you want to share it you will have to add it to the Manufacturing environment in your file and post it again.  Here is a Screencast of the simulation I supplied to you.  As you can see it only runs once.

I went back and replayed the simulation and the green bar showing the simulation time line went half across the screen then when it reached the middle of the screen it started over it might have jus been replaying but then the 3rd time i started the simulation which happened be the time i was recording the simulation so i could fwd it you it only ran once . About the way my luck is but now it is working just as your screencast showed

Thank you so much for your help

sincerely Sean
