Issues using drawing title blocks.

Hi all,

hope you are all well.

I’ve come across an issue when attempting to use title blocks - the issue is as follows:

I create a new drawing for my part, then delete the default block. I then create a new block from scratch changing a few of the headings and adding a few new boxes, as well as putting an image in (logo). At the end of the process I exported this block as a DWG file.

However, if I was to create a new drawing for a separate component, and then try to use the drawing block by loading the DWG I have just created, I am met with a ‘Title block insert failed’ message. Upon clicking the ‘more information’ this takes me to a web page that doesn’t exist.

kind regards and thanks in advance.

Hi,

Please upload such a DWG.
This way we can check the behavior.

Fusion 360 required a saved F2T file to be use to create a new drawing.  You can save a drawing file as a DWG but it cannot be used in the creation of a new drawing from the model environment.  You can use the saved DWG in the process of creating a new drawing template but it must be save as a Fusion 360 drawing template as a F2T file.
