Issues accessing the Multi-Axis Deposition Toolpaths for the Additive Featyre

I am following the video on Multi-Axis Deposition Toolpaths from Autodesk and when i get to the step where you go to Preferences and select Preview Features. Once selected you are instructed to type in Additive into the search bar and selections should come up but nothing is there for me. And the Generic DED option is also not available. How do i go about resolving this?

Please reply and give the URL of the tutorial you are trying to follow.  There are so many tutorials out there, the Forum users will not know which one you are working with.

A lot of the videos are using the old User Interface.  Here is the location of the Additive feature you want.  I do not know what you mean by Generic DED option.  You could make it easier for all to help to give time stamps in the video to address you issues.

For the screenshot you provided... the Additive Multi-Deposition is not available on my screen. It doesn't exist. Is there an add on i need to download?

You did not say what your Fusion 360 License type is, but I should have asked.  If you have a Fusion 360 Personal License, this Preference is not available.  The screen capture I attached was from my Fusion 360 Subscription License.

I currently have an Educational License. Some of my peers also have the same license and have been able to access this additive feature but mine is missing.

Sorry this is my first time using a forums so Im learning what should all be included.

Well that changes things, an Educational License has all the features of a Subscription license.  My guesses are, if you just installed Fusion 360, close it, restart your computer, the start it again, it may come up.  If not, you should be sure you are on the latest version 2.0.11685.  You can find this under the "?" mark, About in the upper right hand corner of the application.  If all these things are done, then I would think you have an incomplete installation.

Thank you for the help. I ended up reinstalling Fusion and that corrected the issues.

Hi @bmolla, I'm glad you managed to resolve this issue. Once you have the feature flag enabled you should now see the generic machine appear in your Fusion Library.

If you have any more questions/queries regarding the toolpath or workflow please feel free to reach out. You can also ask here - https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/fusion-360-manufacture/open-looking-for-feedback-additive-multi-axis-...

Thanks,
