Issue with Macbook and dual screens

Hi,

I have a M1 Macbook pro 13" and a Dell dual screen. I have an issue where if Fusion is open on the second screen and the macbook goes to sleep, upon waking, the fusion browser list and any fusion dialogues open on the macbook screen.

The only method to fix this is to close and reopen fusion.

Anybody else experience this and have a solution.

Thanks

Ned

Hello @ned.morris89 ,

This is a known issue with dual screen.
The workaround I would suggest you is to try the Top and bottom screen arrangement rather than side by side.

See if this helps.

Thanks!

Is there a timeline as to when we can expect not having to use such workarounds anymore ?

I Use a 15" MacBook Pro (mid 2017) and a 48" external monitor in top/bottom arrangement and experience some odd UI issues there as well.
For example I start Fusion 360 on the big/top screen and dialogues, for example for editing a timeline feature show up on the bottom. Not a deal breaker, in isolation, but in accumulation with other UI issues (vanishing timeline marker for example) it can become  quite a time consuming issue.

Is there a timeline on this @mohammed.aliTDPXK ?

I have been experiencing the issue for months now.

Top and bottom arrangement wont work for my physical setup.

Hello @ned.morris89 @TrippyLighting ,

Sorry but I cannot give a timeline, but I will make sure I raise this issue to the concerned team.

Thanks!

It's the end of 2022, and still no fix for this. I use two screens and the MBP as a third. I have to close Fusion because all the dialogs start to hide across the three screens behind other windows. One caveat is it only seems to happen after a while. Seemingly not a big deal, but when I am trying to iterate and 3d print, I have a couple of slicers open, a browser, Fusion, and Craft the notes app. This seems to make Fusion go janky faster. I have an MBP 14" M1pro not the best but no slouch either. Did this on my last 2016 MBP as well.
