Issue with copy-paste parameters between designs (Parameter rename failed)

Hi,

I created a design with one parameter to define some size.
Next in this design I created two components using that parameter.
Then I created a second design and copied there these two components into second design.
And in the second design I can see how Fusion has created two new parameters for each component with unique name.

And in the second design I can't change the name of these parameters to the original one. Fusion says something about "this name is already in use" while it's definetly not in use. And i does'n't allow to me create a new parameter with the original name.

I expect Fusion to allow me to change the name of the parameter and set it to the original one.

Maybe there is a way to overcome this issue ?

yes, that is a bug.  It has been filed as FUS-46171.  Thanks for reporting it.

sorry, but today we do not have any way to provide such a link.  Our bug tracking system is inside our firewall.

This issue was fixed with the August 2020 Release. You should be able to rename the parameter after the copy-paste operation. Please let me know if you can still reproduce the issue.
