Issue in using capture position

Anonymous
Not applicable

I'm doing a course in coursera on integrated CAD/CAM/CAE. I've been instructed to do as in the picture given. I did the same, but the belt is not getting updated. It stays same as that of in the first picture. Can someone help me to do this?

Please share your model. Export as .f3d and attach to your next post. My general advise is that in 95% of mechanical designs the position capture feature should not be present.

The sketch that creates the base geometry for the belt, is not referencing any of the geometry of the pulleys. It has not reason to change when you move the tensioner component.
