Issue at 99% of update

My Windows 10 has updated for Dec 2018, with many defender updates.  As usual Fusion 360 tried to update and MS10 produces a warning saying that the App (assume its Fusion 360) wants to change controlled folders.  Click on the warning and it launches Settings, Security and add the app to allowed list.  Worked for my Olympus camera but can't get it to work for Fusion.   I have all the usual virus and ransomeware features switched on in MS10 and I don't really want to turn them off.  First time I have encountered this, It usually updates seamlessly.

I sorted this out in Win 10,  Go to settings, search for Ransomeware Protection and switch it off and Fusion will update properly.  Not sure whether this is default now.  I switched it back on because of emails quoting ones password and demanding blackmail money to not seizing your computer data and browsing history.
