Is there any way to auto select edges around an extruded circular pattern?

It's not the end of the world, but scrolling around my model and selecting each of the 104 edges to add a chamfer is slightly tedious.  Is there any better method to do this?

Chamfer before the Pattern or

Select Through,

use crossing window select, one marque selects them all.
