The typical way to add a command to the Toolbar is by selecting the three dots and pinning it to the Toolbar or Shortcuts.  However, I don't see where I can do that with Units.  Does anyone have any suggestions or workarounds?

@jay3GVH2  The toolbar shortcuts are reserved for tools available through the toolbar. The units are part of the browser's Document Settings and cannot be added to the toolbar.

What you can do alternatively is hit the S key (search command / Design Shortcuts) and search for "units" and the "Change Active Units" will come up. It will allow you to add it to the the "Design Shortcuts" above the search/text input field 🙂 it is actually very useful to have it there and you can always reach it by hitting the S key on the keyboard:

Thank you for the suggestion.  It’s not as convenient as having a button to toggle between units, but it will have to do.  I like to work in inch and when I save it as an STL, I need to convert it to mm so the 3D application sizes it correctly.  It’s a shame it takes so many clicks to change the unit of measure, even with the shortcut.

Couldn’t agree more - it is always a little inconvenient to do it ! I would
love for a switch button somewhere!

By the way - you can write an add on with Python or C++ ! I believe there
is a command for the units in the API
