Is anyone else frustrated by repeatedly having to login to Fusion 360...with 2-factor?

Having to do the following every couple weeks or so...

  1. Type (or copy) my username into Fusion 360 because it doesn't even remember my username
  2. Pull up my password manager
  3. Copy/paste password into Fusion 360
  4. Pull out my phone
  5. Navigate to Google Authenticator
  6. Scroll to Audodesk
  7. Type in the 2-factor code into Fusion 360

...is a STRONG disincentive to using Fusion 360. No other software that I use (hobby user) requires me to log in like this.  I use Hitfilm, which requires a login like Fusion 360, but re-authentication is only needed when the software is upgraded. This is MUCH more usable.  I'm so frustrated having to constantly log into Fusion 360 that I'm looking for alternatives, even if Fusion 360 is easier to use or has better features.  Blender is more powerful, but not as easy to use (IMO).  Arrrrgh.

  Anyone else feel this frustration?

I have no idea what 2 factor is but I never have to log into Fusion unless I log out myself. I have probably been logged on for over a year now.

I just signed out and back in, I typed my email and password and I am in.

Is this something that your company set up?

You can find the ability to set up 2 - step authentication under your log in profile password and security settings if you are interested.

@Educational36X6E  I use 2-factor login but don't have the problem with Fusion logging me out so not sure why you're seeing this. Do you use any cleanup utilities? Only time I remember getting logged out was when I tried to start Fusion when my internet was down.

John pointed me to where I can disable 2-step Authentication, so that's great (and I'll accept that as the solution). I disabled that part. I'm still baffled why others report never being logged out of Fusion 360. I'm running the personal/free version, and I think I've had to log in 4 or 5 times in the past few months. Disabling the 2-Step solves most of the hassle. I don't have any system cleanup or other tools running (other than default Windows Defender in Win10). Glad to know this isn't by design and that I'm experiencing an anomaly--this will make me keep searching for the root cause to fix.

Thanks all! I'm glad I'm the only one going crazy. I love Fusion 360. Any impediments to using it--BE GONE!
