Invisible Transform Event in Animation Timeline

I am creating an explosion animation of a very large (506 components) assembly and deleted a transform event in the animation timeline and though the transform object is no longer visible or selectable, it seems to be effecting the movement of multiple components. I have tried deleting and reinserting transform events after the invisible event but this does not change the existence of that transform event. I would restart except I have already spent hours creating what I currently have.
