Inverted lighting and texture?

Hey,

I'm having a lighting issue in rendering. When I see a body in its normal position, it looks dark and poorly lit, but when I see it from below, it looks 'normal'.

This has been bothering me a lot and I would like to know if there is a way to solve this problem.

Thanks in advance.

Its mostly going to come down to the scene settings. Environment, ground plane and brightness are what i'd look at first. Certain environments tend to make objects appear darker - as they are designed to do for depth and contrast.

You might need additional modeled lighting to make specific objects brighter. This can achieved by a simple modeled 'light' above the object with an emissive appearance set to the face pointed at the object.
