Inventor Style Mesh Measurements?

I'm moving from Inventor to Fusion 360 currently. In Inventor when measuring a STL mesh body, Inventor would do a pretty good job detecting features of the object. Things like faces, circles, and the like - See the following picture for what I mean.

In Fusion360 I just get to measure point to point. Is there anyway to be able to take measurements of imported objects in Fusion360 similar to Inventor?Fusion360_2018-09-10_11-55-16.png

Both objects are the same imported STL file.

Hi @tophattwaffle

Thanks for posting. The Inspect>Measure tool does work a little differently in Fusion 360 than Inventor - I would like to see the ability to select faces on imported meshes in Fusion 360 as well. This would be a great addition to the Fusion 360 Ideastation!

Our product management and development teams monitor the Ideastation to prioritize future projects based on your feedback and we appreciate any input you can provide. For the time being, the Inspect>Measure tool will require you to use points when measuring imported meshes in Fusion.
