Hi Folks.

My computer suffered a spectacular crash with the blue screen of death (running Windows 10) that meant I could no longer run Fusion 360.  Whilst re-installing the software, I received this error message:

Jaeger1787_0-1589550736056.png

It had reached 69% of download at the time.

I left the system to work through the installation when at 99% the message was repeated.

Installation continued to 100%.

I then tried to run the application to receive the message:

Jaeger1787_2-1589550736059.png

But, how can I sign in unless the program is running?  I am connected to the net, as the fact that I can post this message will attestify.  What do I need to do.  I did use the cleaner program before attempting to re-install Fusion.

Keith

PS.  I can not find any errors indicated in the log file. That does not mean they are not there, just that I can not find them.  I append the log file and the cleaner log.

@Jaeger1787 I am still looking at the logs but from a quick look,

1. Can you clear your temp folder

2. Restart your machine

3. Start install again and see fi this helps?

Dear Raj

Sorry, you will have to talk me through that.  Which temp folder would
that be?  I have found a temp folder in the root directory with a text
message.  There is also a temp folder in the Program Files (x86) folder,
on the C: drive which is empty.

There is a folder named CIMTEMP, but no idea what for or where from.  It
contains a security file : usbfilter.cat.

Any pointers where to look?

Can you clear this folder and restart your machine and try?

Thanks guys.

I cleared the temp file (apart from the NVidia files in an embedded
folder.  I then removed and re-installed Fusion 360. Pleased to say that
it is now back up and running.

Cheers.
