Inspect > Section Analysis Problem

I am a real beginner, but I have used Inspect > Section Analysis before successfully. I select the plane (usually xy), and then see the little blue arrow and move it up and down and can see what I want.  But I am unable to that with the thing I have been working on recently.  I select the xy plane but do not see the little blue arrow.  f3d attached.

Thanks for any advice you might have.  Bob

Hi John,

Thanks very much.  I can now do what I was trying to do.  And I've noticed that you've now saved my bacon twice in 24 hours so I am very grateful.  I have noticed that if I do something slightly different than what you illustrated in the screencast that I do not get the blue arrow.  And I do love that blue arrow!  I will try to create a screencast demonstrating it but so far screencast has not been cooperating.
