Insert Mesh does not seem to work on a Mac

Hello!

I am trying to plan a van conversion and downloaded a 3d model from victronenergy.com.

I could not insert it on my simple floor plan so I tried with an empty document.

Somehow the OK button is always disabled.

See attached video.

I might miss something, but this looks like a bug to me.

Thanks!

Dave

Hi @Anonymous ,

.STL and .OBJ are the only two formats that Fusion 360 allows to Insert mesh.

I can see you are trying to insert a .STP file.

Edited:

You can still import the .STP file in fusion 360 .

For that

  • Open from Computer
    • Goto File>Open
    • Open file from my computer...
    • Select .stp file and then save
  • Upload & open
    • Upload .STP file to the datapanel
    • Open the file.

Let me know if you are looking for same or something different
