Insert Canvas not working

Does anyone else have this issue with Canvas?

I recently rebuilt my PC to:

i7-4770 Win10

32GB

Radeon RX 580 w/ 8GB

And now I see that the canvas or decal image won't appear when I try to insert one.  Doesn't matter if it's local or uploaded.  The opacity is not the issue, as I have tried varying that.  this is what it looks like:

Capture canvas 1.PNG

Now, when I edit the canvas/decal after the insert by selecting edit in the browser tree, I get:

Capture canvas 2.PNG

I see the origin objects disappear and I get a large negative number in the X, Y dist and Z ang fields as shown.  This number turns out to be -2^31 (2147483647) so it's obviously an overflow issue.  When I attempt to scale the view by scrolling the mouse, the orientation cube disappears.  After that, saving the file and reopening will have the same behavior indicating that the file is corrupted.

It's interesting that when I load a previously built file (see below) F360 has no trouble opening the file or editing any of the decals.  So it seems like a creation issue that does not affect previously existing canvases.

Capture canvas 3.PNG

Any thoughts?  I have already tried the auto uninstaller and reinstall, running as admin, and changing the direct X driver to force V 9 or 11 all to no avail.

Please attach the image file you are trying to use when creating the Canvas.  Remember you may have to zip it in order to attach it to your question.

Hey jhackney,

So I tried to upload the pic and this forum wouldn't let me, even though it was a supported file type (zip wouldn't work either), so I went to upload the pic showing that using snipping tool (see below)  and had the idea to try canvas on that pic, and it did work!

I think Google must do something to their images to prevent them from being easily used.  Snipping tool outputs a .PNG file which is the one that worked and those won't work from google images either.  I'll have to run certain images through snipping tool as a workaround I guess.  I now tried some other images from google and they will import.

If you want to try to reproduce, the file that won't work can be found here on google images (it won't insert onto forum)

thanks

I do not see any issues with creating a Canvas using your image.  I converted it to a PNG and added it to the design.  I went back and scaled it to 2X original size without any issues.  i have also created a zip file or the Google Drive file and my converted PNG and attached it to this post.  It seemed to work just fine as an Attachment.

Thanks jhackney, the file from your zip works fine.  Not sure what was happening.
