Incorrect Threading for Holes

Anonymous
Not applicable

Hello,

I've tried drawing a hole with threading 8-32 ANSI UNC threading but it turned out to be actually 6-32 UNC threading once I printed the drawing from an STL file. In addition, the 10-32 UNF ANSI Screw threading did not print properly as well (possibly 10-24 when it should've been 10-32). Also Any help would be greatly appreciated - thank you.

all the fusion thread details are in a file on your computer.  you can check, edit add or delete to your hearts content.

hopefully someone can chime in with the file name and likely location.

sorry not realizing your printing was not a drawing you got the above answer which is stll very much worth checking.

in machining there is a post processor to generate g code.  is there the same for 3d printing ??  if so it also could be suspect.

can you reimport your stl and check it out in fusion.. only a guess....
