I was getting weird and poor simulation results with high stress concentrations when using Bolt Connectors in a Static Stress Simulation. I figured out the bolt connectors where pulling only along an edge despite selecting a face and which edge (top or bottom) seems random. The first picture shows how the face is selected for the thread hole. Only after reopening the Edit Connect by hitting OK, than Edit Connector can we see only an edge is used either the top or bottom edge of the face selected, shown in the other 2 photos below.

 Maybe it's an intentional simplification and not a true "bug" but it makes Bolt Connectors useless as a tool in Simulations to me. This caused a lot of confusion and means the "Bolt Length" variable is pointless. Has anyone else found Bolt Connectors to work better for them?

yeah im struggling with bolt connectors also, did you find a solution here?  I am having an issue being able to complete adding bolt connectors for similar issues b frustrating..
