Importing any DXF files fail upload

I have a Lenovo P52

Serial Number: PF1KE58M

Every time i try to upload or insert a DXF file it does not work correctly, I've tried on other devices and it works fine.

I looked up this issue on the forums and it appeared to be a graphics driver issue. So I updated the graphics drivers through geforce experience (looks like they were updated last in january which is probably when the error occured with uploading dxf files). However, the issue is still persisting. I need assistance with this immediately because I use DXF files for my job and my side business.

I noticed that some dxf files do work.
ToolBox-1_3_ uploads properly, but gdNxswbxTM-toolbox 1 does not upload correctly.

I had to upload them txt files because I got an error: "

Correct the highlighted errors and try again.

  • The attachment's gdnxswbxtm-toolbox 1.dxf content type (application/x-dxf) does not match its file extension and has been removed.
The attachment's toolbox-1-_3_.dxf content type (application/x-dxf) does not match its file extension and has been removed."

I think the fact the forum is rejecting your DXF points towards the format not following AutoDesk's standard correctly. I opened and resaved your file from Rhino and you can see in the image below your file on the right has a different format. The DXF attached from Rhino opens fine in Fusion. Note it does contain a surface so you'll need to upload it rather than use insert dxf.

Thanks Mark,

Any idea what about the formatting it does not like?
It's quite odd, it worked a few months ago. I know my DXF generator is based off an older standard of DXF but manually going through the documents to check I can't find a large difference in initialization or closing code. Any idea?

I tried using ChatGPT and the autodesk DXF standards document to identify any issues and they also had problems finding any issue. But also not right a lot of the time with technical work.

Have you tried using the inbuilt Utility Bulk DXF Importer?
