Hi folks,

In file, I derived a PCB from a sketch to have a variable board outline (dependant on the sketch).

After I successfully created the schematic, placed components on the board and did the routing, I ask myself how I would re-import the actual pcb model to the original file (the one with the sketch I derived the PCB from).

Fusion created a dedicated file with the 3D PCB model but from my memory (when I used the Eagle standalone client) it was possible to push the board's back to Fusion into the original file. Would I just add the PCB's model into the original file as I would do with a regular external part or is there a more integrated approach?

How is this workflow done now?

Another thing I noticed:

After I modified the sketch, the board's outline doesnt get updated in the PCB or board file. Do I have to enforce that in some way?

Thanks for any help in advance,

Paul
