Import mesh tab missing

I am trying to import a STL file to modify it. I click on insert tab at top tool bar. The drop down menu shows import SVG file and import DXF file but it does nor show "import mesh" which I have read I should click on to import my stl file. Is this option not available in the hobbist version? Is there something esle I need to click on to turn import mesh on?

I think you should be able to import meshes. Have you tried importing from the mesh workspace?
