Impact of License Expiration on Access and Editing of Fusion Files (F3D/F3Z)

I'm currently working on a school project where I've created Fusion files (F3D and F3Z formats). Once my school access and license expire, I’m wondering if I would still be able to use these files. Specifically, if I were to send the files to someone with an active Fusion account, would they be able to open, edit, and use the F3D or F3Z files, or would they no longer be accessible?

Yes, the files will still be active IF you either still have access to your Account OR if you send them to someone else right now.  You may benefit from the information on this webpage.

Hi, thanks for the response! If the files are exported in F3D and F3Z formats and stored in Google Drive, will they still be accessible and usable after downloading, even if they’re just sitting there? Or do they need to be on the other person’s account before the license expires in order for them to use the files?

Autodesk Fusion files are independent and can be opened by anyone in F3D of F3Z format.  Exported files are not linked to the user account that created them.  The only thing that could change this, and I do not have a crystal ball, is if Autodesk ceases to support these file formats sometime in the future.  I doubt this will have anytime soon.  So the files, setting on a drive somewhere can be open by any person at anytime as long as the application will support them.  I have attached a file I created, you can download and open it, there is your proof.
