Im having troubles sending files to my laser guy. He uses 2d software like inkscape and it wont run my files.

So obviously I need to send him just 2d sketch geometry but everything I try doesn't seem to work. I'm very new to design. Any tips would be very appreciated.

If all your geometry is in one sketch you can right click the sketch and save as DXF

If geometry is in multiple sketches/bodies/etc.. then create a sketch, use the project command and project all the needed geometry into this new sketch.  finish that sketch and save as DXF
