I have to type in my Username and Password EVERY TIME i launch Fusion 360!

HI,

I have just changed my Password to my Autodesk account to something more secure ( and something I cannot remember)

My password is save in my Chrome Password manager. So all my autodesk accounts and logins are working fine.

But Everytime i launch F360 it asks for my Email and password!

I can remember my Email, But NOT my password as its a very strong password, I managed to login the first time by copy and pasting my saved password from chrome, but  I don't want to do this every time i wish to use F360?

Q1) Is there a preference setting that i can turn on so that my login details are saved and "auto filled" when i launch F360?

I have other desktoped based software which requires subscription and i NEVER have to do this!

What is the solution!

Thanks

Dave

OK,

I have just spent the past few hours UNINSTALLING every file that's anything to do with Fusion 360, As the cleaner or uninstaller app does NOT WORK!

I then reinstalled everything for F360 fas new.

I can log in the first time, I can see all my data, BUT F360 is STILL NOT REMEMBERING MY LOGIN/PASSWORD!

This is unacceptable.

Also why are there a billion files for F360, Why can't you just keep all data in the APP instead of scattering it everywhere? You are worse than adobe filling up my drive with such a mess!

Why doesn't the fusion 360 APP just sit in the main apps folder, why must it be in a user apps folder?

@Rushikesh.kadam i have the same problem on my 2017 MacBook Pro. I have to login to both Fusion 360 and Screencast. This behavior only started several months ago.

Still happening with my system, I got a autodesk expert 2 days ago to look into this, they couldn't figure it out, so all my logs and system data are being analized to find the source of the problem!

I found this thread while searching for a solution to the exact same problem.

Like the OP, I use a very long random password and, like the OP, entering this password every time I launch Fusion 360 seems unreasonable. None of my other subscription-based applications (Adobe, etc.) require a login on every single launch.

It seems that there may be a work-around for Windows users. Is there a reason that the Mac version behaves differently?

do you have auto fill enabled on the Mac

I have a iMac (intel i9 ) and have no problems with the login
