I have discovered a large bug - I got signed into someone else's account

I have been using Autodesk inventor for 9 years now and I love it. I finally decided to try fusion 360 to edit a file I got from pintables. I started the software for the first time and got logged into someone else's account. I only noticed because the software says "Hello [Name]" at the top and it was not my name. It also shows the email for the account on the next page and it is definitely not mine. Fusion then prompted me to join are create a team, which it should not do since I have an individual student account. So not only am I logged into the wrong account, but I can't even run fusion without joining a team, whatever that means. I tried to contact support on the website, but it led me to the live chat which is not running.

What should I do? I think this is a very serious bug and I would like to officially report it somehow. I have a screenshot of the problem. I can record a video, but I don't know how to edit out the personal emails in a video.

@taz5963 Can you Direct Message me your email ID? We can check in the back office to see why you are seeing the wrong ID.

Also, I take it that you are using the same user ID/login that you are using for Inventor to login to Fusion, right?

To close the thread here, @taz5963 waited a few hours and now logging in does not show this issue. We are certainly treating this as a high priority issue to look in to what happened here.

Hi.  Please have a look at this post from today, could this be the same issue?

Hello,

I just read through their post and it seems very similar to the issue I had. I did not have my account migrated to a new one like they did, but it was my first time logging into fusion 360. I noticed my problem on the same exact screen they did. Hope this helps!

@taz5963 Appreciate the extra information. I am aware of the difference between what you are seeing and what the other customer is seeing. Root cause though we believe is the same.
